1. Can i incorporate an offshore company in ghana?
Not for now, the legislation guiding offshore company incorporation and other offshore services in ghana is yet to be enacted and ascended to. we believe by year end 2008, it should be possible to incorporate an offshore company and undertake all major offshore services in ghana.
2. How much will it cost me to incorporate an offshore company?
We shall communicate the cost when the service starts.
3. What is bank introduction?
Bank introduction is simply a service of matching customers and potential customers to operative offshore banks.
we provide an introduction service and because of our knowledge of the bank requirements we guide you through the application process. this means we supply you all necessary information and application forms about the bank.
4. Who are your partners?
Our partners are:
• Barclays bank ghana, for professional offshore banking services
• Primus legal consult - associate law firm
• Atp resources and consulting ltd - financial and investment firm
5. When will other offshore services come on stream?
Other offshore services including virtual and shelf office services, administration and accounting services, nominee services etc will start as soon as the necessary legislation amendments has been ratified.
6. Who is G-shore?
G-shore corporate services limited (g-shore) is the first offshore corporate services company to be established in Ghana. G-shore services presently focuses on the provision of an introductory service for clients interested in opening and operating offshore bank accounts in Ghana. Eventually, G-shore intends to provide services which will include incorporation of international business companies (ibc), virtual office services, administration and accounting services, tax services and provision of nominee shareholders,Directors as well as registered offices for incorporation of offshore companies.
7. What other investment opportunities exist for non-residents?
There are several investment opportunities in ghana. some are; mining, hospitality services, agriculture, food processing, real estate, fish farming, information technology, oil exploration, finance and insurance, water and power generation, waste management and recycle, wood and furniture, deep sea fishing and many more.

8. Can i open an offshore bank account through you without registering an offshore company?
Yes, an offshore account can be opened without registering an offshore company.
9. What is the initial deposit required by the banks you represent?
We represent Barclays bank ghana and they require an initial deposit of us$5,000 from the client.
10. What are your charges for bank introduction?
The bank introduction service provided by g-shore is currently free.
11. Who can opened an offshore bank account in Ghana?
Offshore bank accounts in Ghana are available for non-resident individuals and foreign companies.
12. When should i pay my opening (initial) balance and to whom?
We will pass your contact details to barclays bank who will forward account opening forms to you. upon satisfactory completion of the forms, you will be able to pay your initial deposit. ALL payment must be made ONLY to Barclays Bank Ghana ( offshore Banking Unit).Please remember the opening balance has to be paid directly to your bank account after the account has been opened and fully activated. You will transfer an amount equal to the minimum required balance or any amount in excess of this required minimum balance. please, don't transfer money before the account has been opened.
